When I was first introduced to Paul Eddy over 3 years ago, I was resigned to ending up immobile. I have degenerative arthritis of the spine which is slowly getting worse.

Walking was difficult and sitting extremely painful.  Although the problems have not gone away, Paul's regular muscular treatments together with personal exercise regime have enabled me to enjoy life again.

I can walk much better and sit for longer periods without pain.  But the most important thing is that, in Paul, I have found someone I can trust and help me keep going in the future.

Four years ago, I was advised by a Consultant that I would no longer be able to run on the fells due to a problem with my knee.  As this is my passion I was distraught.

Paul was recommended to me.  With his sports and clinical knowledge and also his compassionate manner he treated me with a rehabilitation programme, which gave me a full recovery.

Since then I have run four 100 mile ultra off road marathons, including Ultra Mont Blanc.  I have continued to see Paul on a regular basis, which has maintained my physical ability.

I have received treatment from Paul Eddy over a number of years for problems/injuries to my lower back, shoulder and foot/ankle.

From the first consultation, Paul's knowledge and experience is obvious and reassuring.  His diagnostic ability is exceptional and he has been able to refer for surgical intervention where this has was required.  The ongoing physiotherapy is conducted with the proactive involvement of the patient and clear explanation of what is being done and the reasons why.

I have no hesitation in recommending Paul as a very capable and skilful professional.

Paul Eddy is simply the best physiotherapist that I have ever been to and I have been to a lot.

I can without hesitation recommend Paul to anyone with a need for physiotherapy.

My particular issue has a 20 year long standing back issue for which I was looking for detail that might tell me 'why', plus what my prognosis might be longer term.

I had no issues with my previous physiotherapist who was very good indeed at reducing my discomfort, but seemed unable to give me a longer term view and plan.

Paul, after several sessions, much longer than I had previously known, gave me various , simple exercises to perform and currently my back is the best it has been for some considerable time.

A most pleasant and talented gentleman.

I first met Paul when I was barely able to put one foot in front of the other.  For a very active old person this was very difficult to accept.  Paul made me no promises or offered false optimism as to what could be achieved.  However, within three or four treatments there was a remarkable improvement and to my delight at the end of the full course of treatment I was again able to walk, and indeed run, better that I had any right to expect.  A very occasional visit has kept everything fine.

A very grateful....

Paul's down-to-earth but broad-minded view of physiotherapy- holistic in the true sense- combined with his remarkably high qualifications gives him the ability to treat all his patients with fresh insight and a sympathetic approach.

Whether it be for the relief of acute or long-term back, neck and other joint pain or other physical problems, for all of which he has treated me over a period of several years, I cannot recommend his work too highly.  He is, simply, the best in his field.

I have degenerative disc disease and after visiting Paul 2 months ago I am now able to lead a more normal life and can even manage to go for a walk or visit the cinema, which I haven't done for over 4 years.

Paul clearly explained to me what had happened to my back and how he was going to get me on a road to recovery, which he has very successfully done and I am now able to attend Pilates classes to follow up on the work that he has done.

Paul has changed my life, after I had almost given up on ever being OK again and I cannot thank him enough.
